Get ready with me: Everyday skincare/makeup routine

I thought i'd try and do a step by step post showing my everyday skincare and makeup routine and show you a couple of products i really love, i also wanted to review the Bare Minerals Ready foundation as it's a product that i am very impressed with!

Firstly, i cleanse my face using my Clarisonic Mia and some tee tree facewash from the Bodyshop. I cannot rave enough about the Clarisonic, it really has improved my skin quality as and acne and hyper pigmentation sufferer and of an evening it really does take off all of my make up even when using heavy foundations like the Estee Lauder double wear

One of my recent purchases is the Effaclar duo by La Roche-Posay, it has had so many rave reviews and i expect great things from this product, I've only been using it for couple days and i can't fault it as a moisturizer so i'm waiting see whether i experience all it's miracle properties.

As a Primer i have been using Velvet touch by Gosh from Superdrug, I've held off from repurchasing the Smashbox primer i'm after as i know i'll be getting it for Christmas and this one is still pretty good at less than half the price.

For my foundation i have been using the Bare Minerals Ready foundation, Bare Minerals is a product I've been wanting to try for such a long time, but me not having the greatest skin and liking a full coverage foundation didn't think that Bare Minerals would cut it. That was until i bit the bullet, went to a counter, was intrigued by the foundation that the lady on the counter was wearing because it was giving her full coverage and was surprised that she was wearing Bare Minerals in the form of the Ready Foundation. So, i got matched and bought it. For almost a week now, i have been loving it's buildable coverage, the fact that it's a powder foundation so it's matte (bye bye oily t-zone) and how light it feels on my skin. To apply it, i have been pressing my real techniques buffing brush into the product and buffing it into my skin using circular motions. I then use my Nars concealer to go over any bits i feel need brightening or concealing.

To highlight and contour i love using my Sleek face form in the shade medium, it is super pigmented as with all sleek products, easy to blend and good value for money.

If i'm going out for the evening then i'll use the highlighter from the Sleek face form, but for every day use, i tend to use this Luminous Pressed powder in 02 as it's a little more subtle.

A blush that i am currently loving is this Nars one in the shade Gilda, on my skin colour it's the perfect peachy pink.

For my eyebrows i use two products both by MUA, firstly, with a light hand, i outline the shape of my eyebrows using the eyebrow pen, i then get an angled brush to blend the product through my eyebrows, i then get a little powder from the pro brow kit onto my angled brush and gently go over my brows.

Ta dah, this is the finished look, not perfect but something that i'm happy with! Hope you enjoyed reading and it wasn't too confusing and that you may have spotted some products you like using or want to try. I would love for you to leave me a comment below with anything you'd like to suggest or recommend or if you liked this type of post or not!

Thanks for reading
