Cut out ankle boots...

Some examples of what the High Street has to offer...

With Cut out ankle boots making an appearance this spring/summer, i can't say i was that taken with them, now don't get me wrong, i like me a chunky heel, but the ones i were seeing on the likes of Tasha Green and Sammi were just too chunky and a little grungy looking, not something i could pull off (along with creepers and flatforms). That was until i spotted these beauties in New Look, they feature a good solid heel but they're not overly chunky as is the boot itself, the shape is a little more ladylike and a little less manly. They were a good price at £27.99 as oppose to the £70 Topshop equivalent with the main difference being that the Topshop ones are leather and the New Look ones aren't, but i can live with that. Plus, as with all my New Look shoes, they are as comfy as anything and i can wear them all day, pain free, despite the heel.

  4. I wish I could pull off the chunky grungy ones too but I have huge feet! I love the ones you have. Tesco last year were doing some great ones, just hoping they come back in stock!
