Pretty in Pastels

So, i finally got round to ordering from www.fragrancedirect.co.uk, for those of you who don't know, they sell fragrances and cosmetics at discounted prices a) because it's a website business they can keep their prices down and b) some of the items are old collections/from previous seasons . For example, these Essie nail varnishes i picked up for the bargain price of £1.99, Essie polishes retail at £7.99 because they are considered 'professional polishes' and i have to say, if you haven't tried them yet, you won't be disappointed. Promise.

Here are the colours i got...

I already own 3 other Essie colours, and from my experience, they glide on smoothly, dry fast and the chipping is minimal which is all you can ask for, plus there is a huge range to choose from. I can't wait to paint my nails using all 3 (stay tuned on instagram for pictures). I placed my order Wednesday, they came on Saturday and i have already ordered some more goodies including Sally Hansen's Nailgrowth Miracle Serum which was £3.99 instead of a whopping £10.99. Stay tuned.

As i was in my local boots I had a little look at the clearance section (as i always do) and came across a nail polish by the brand Sinful Colors, a brand that i'd never heard of, but both the colour and bottle (which reminded me of China Glaze) stood out to me and even though it wasn't actually clearance it was only £1.99 and i thought i'd give it a go.

Here's how it looks

It was easy to apply, quick drying, gave a nice glossy finish and it is now day 3 and it's still going strong. I would definitely recommend trying these and upon looking at the Boots website they have tons more fun colours.
