Little collective beauty haul

1.   I was lacking on the brush front and Boots have a buy one get one half price offer on selected Real Techniques brushes at the moment, so i took advantage and got the blush brush, the quality of these brushes never disappoint.

2.   This is the Elizabeth Arden double density mascara, i needed a new one and i thought i'd try this as it was a bargain from fragrance direct. I find this mascara ok, as it does separate the lashes and apply evenly, but it's quite a dry formula so you have to build it up and it doesn't give any major volume which is what i look for in a mascara so i wouldn't repurchase.

3.   OPI in Elephantastic 116 - I have never used OPI before and i love this colour, but i found i had to use 3 coats to make it opaque which was unexpected, does anyone else find this or is it just me?

4.   OPI in Vampsterdam 138 - Again, a lovely colour, i have it on my nails as i type and at £3.99 instead of £11.50 i'm not complaining, but again, i did have to use 3 coats.

(sorry about the chipping)

5.    These YSL rouge pur couture lipsticks had me at hello, i mean, the packaging, it's irresistible. I picked up the shade 35 Rouge Vernis in the Debenhams sale for £17.50 instead of a whopping £25, i love the silky formula and subtlety of colour in these lipsticks.

6.   I also got another Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick, in 09 Rose Stiletto, this time from feel unique and i paid £15.70.

7.   I picked up a Rimmel moisture renew lipstick for 99p at fragrance direct, i got the shade Pink chic 220, a great lippy for 99p.

8.   From Superdrug i picked up a couple of blushes, starting with this Sleek blush in Flushed, i'm pretty sure i had it before but must have lost it, this is a really lovely glowy colour and a great product.

9.   The second blush i got, was the shade Candyfloss from MUA, i bought an MUA blush AGES ago, before they changed the packaging and didn't like it, but have since heard good things about them so i thought i'd try it again. But i have to say, even though they're only £1, i just don't like them, for me, the colour never shows up and the product once applied, isn't very long lasting, you definitely get what you pay for and i'd prefer to pay the extra £3.49 for a much better quality Sleek blush.

10.   Lastly, is the Real Techniques Powder brush, it's inexpensive, great quality and as with all the real techniques brushes, it's a dream to use.

I would also like to show you this H&M bag i picked up, it's a suede beauty and from the moment i saw it, i knew i had to have it. At £49.99 i thought it was a bit pricey for H&M, even if it was suede, so i put it out of my mind. Then, in May, some friends and i headed to London to see Beyonce, the day after, we went to Westfield (of course) and i spotted it in store. My friend Pat (who studies footwear design, which also entails bag design) was disgusted that i would even consider spending that much on it, and that the suede wasn't even that good a quality. So, with that, i reluctantly left without it, suede is suede to me and it was just so pretty, but i took her expert advice. Then, a couple weeks ago, i was browsing the H&M website and spotted the bag, there in the sale, for £30 and after i Googled for H&M discount codes i found a 25% off code, that brought it right down to £22.50 and i simply couldn't resist it.

Here it is
